Anywaves Appoints Former Luxembourg Space Agency Chief Marc Serres as Chief Business & Growth Officer

October 20, 2026 by donmcgee

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, European space antenna and radio frequency subsystem manufacturer Anywaves announced the appointment of Marc Serres, the former chief executive officer of the Luxembourg Space Agency, as its Chief Business & Growth Officer.

Joining the executive committee of the French-Luxembourgish group, Serres will execute Anywaves’ five-year commercial roadmap, expand institutional partnerships across European space programs, and guide strategic industry alliances to establish Anywaves as a global reference in space RF and payload subsystems by 2031.

Institutional Diplomacy and Agency Alliances

Serres brings more than two decades of public policy, space agency governance, and satellite telecommunications engineering experience to the enterprise. Having served eight years as the founding head of the Luxembourg Space Agency following his role as Head of Space Affairs at Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, Serres will oversee senior relationships with national civil space agencies, the European Space Agency, and defense procurement authorities to position the company’s hardware aboard dual-use orbital programs.

European RF Consolidation and Transatlantic Footprint

The appointment follows the corporate consolidation completed when Anywaves and EmTroniX merged to form an integrated space RF group earlier this year. Combining Anywaves’ miniature antenna hardware with EmTroniX’s software-defined radio architectures, the unified enterprise employs more than 120 specialists across manufacturing sites in France and Luxembourg. Concurrently, the group is expanding its North American presence, leveraging the operational footprint established when Anywaves launched its U.S. subsidiary in Austin, Texas.

Executive Perspectives on Scaling Dual-Use Systems

Leadership highlighted the value of integrating technical design with institutional relations.

“Anywaves has reached a major milestone with a European consolidation in cutting-edge fields, and today holds strong technological, industrial and international assets,” stated Marc Serres, Chief Business & Growth Officer at Anywaves. “I am joining the group to help develop institutional relations, carry Anywaves’ contribution to strategic programs, and build the partnerships and alliances that will enable it to deliver on its ambitions in Europe and internationally.”

Strategic Outlook Toward 2031 Subsystem Leadership

Moving forward, Anywaves will accelerate commercial delivery of integrated modular RF electronics and active antenna arrays. By expanding into space-based radar surveillance and Earth observation subsystems, the manufacturer aims to reinforce European technological sovereignty while supplying prime satellite contractors worldwide.
